Trisha Yearwood fans can look forward to a new single next month. The singer tells “People” she’ll release the new track “Every Girl in This Town” on June 6th, the first single off her first full-length country album in more than a decade.
“I was a little girl in a small town dreaming big, as evidenced by so many photos of me in dress-up,” she shares. “I wanted it all.” She adds she hopes the song will encourage other girls to “dream big” and accept that “It’s okay to make mistakes and not be perfect.”
Trisha’s new album is expected out later this year, and she says she felt “no pressure” when making the record. She adds it gave her “a freeing feeling of just getting to be creative and not worrying about anything beyond just taking care of the music, finding the right songs and having fun in the studio.”
