More Early ACM Award Winners Announced



As we told you, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Ashley McBride, Tenille Townes, Calyee Hammack, and Elle King’s performance of “Fooled Around and Fell In Love” was already announced as winner of the ACM Award for Vocal Event of the Year. Well, it turns out that wasn’t the only award handed out ahead of tomorrow night’s telecast. 

Also winning early awards are Thomas Rhett, who won Video of the Year for his clip or “Remember You Young,” and Hillary Lindsey, who was named Songwriter of the Year.

  • “What a start to the week,” Thomas shared upon hearing the news. “This one is special. So much love went in to telling this story for y’all.”
  • As for Miranda, she shared, “What a day! I’m so happy to share this moment with these artists I respect so much . Not only that , I’m thankful to call them all friends. Love y’all! 💗#countrymusic#roadsidebarsandpinkguitars.”

The 55th Annual ACM Awards air tomorrow at 8 pm on CBS. 

  • ONE MORE THING! As for tomorrow night’s ACM Awards, Billboard reports that the show will open by showing off this year’s Entertainer of the Year nominees. Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett are all expected to perform a medley of their greatest hits.
