Midland Debut New Songs, Split Pants & Welcome Guests At Ryman Show

Midland headlined Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium Sunday for a Cinco De Mayo show, where they gave the audience a taste of their new music.

The band played several new songs, including their new single “Mr. Lonely,” as well as tracks called “Fast Hearts,” “Cheating Song,” “21st Century Honky-Tonk Band” and “14 Years.”

But the night wasn’t without at least one incident, mainly a wardrobe malfunction. While performing “Mr. Lonely,” Cameron Duddy split his pants, although fans didn’t see too much because he was wearing underwear.

The night also featured a guest appearance by Chris Isaak, who joined them for his hit “Wicked Games,” as well as an appearance by Brooks & Dunn, for a performance of “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” It also had the band performing several covers, including Carly Simon’s “Your So Vain,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Tougher Than The Rest” and “Atlantic City,” Roy Orbison’s “You Got It,” and more. Check out some video to the right.
