Kip Moore’s “Last Shot” Is An “Old School Country Love Song”

Kip Moore’s latest single “Last Shot” is climbing up the charts and he describes the track as an “old school country love song.” Kip wrote the tune with David Lee Murphy and Dan Couch, based on an idea of Dan’s.

Kip says the song really took off after David came up with the line “If you were my last breath/I’d just want to hold you.” He shares, “I thought that was just such a brilliant line.”

“Last Shot” is featured on Kip’s latest album “Slowheart,” and is a follow-up to his number one hit “More Girls Like You.”
