The GRAMMYs are coming up in two weeks, and the Recording Academy just announced a new event that will kick off this year’s GRAMMY Week.
“Women in the Mix” will feature a star-studded lineup of female artists, producers, songwriters and more. It’s being described as “a virtual celebration recognizing the contributions of women in music and amplifying the female voices across the industry.”
“Women in the Mix” will take place March 8th, which is also International Women’s Day, and will feature such artists as Ingrid Andress, Cyndi Lauper, Sheila E, MC Lyte, and more, with additional artists to be added in the coming weeks.
Fans can watch “Women in the Mix” on the GRAMMY website at 8 pm ET. The 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards air March 14th on CBS.
